You didn't heard of Angina P before? So something in your live is missing. Now with her first CD release you get the chance to buy an album which I only can name as a diamond between ashes. Such intense and beautiful! Vienna based producer Angina P previously appeared on a number of compilations and online releases. She also reached number one with her songs at mp3.com with over 370000 downloads. She also made a track for the DVD Version of "Taking Lives" and the soundtrack& effects for the upcoming video game "Sun Age". But besides all this impressive facts there is one thing which impressed me more. When I started the CD I was totally taken away in a few seconds by the wonderful opener "Known Issues". What a dazzling array of pictures and complex atmosphere Angina P creates in your head just in a few seconds. So I was really afraid that with the end of the first track this atmosphere will pass by. No way "No Time To Bleed" is a little bit rougher but the beats and the digital sounds are fielded through warm chords and the journey goes on. "Placement Club" and "Good Lady Wife" are also well balanced tracks with digital rough rhythms, but the tracks never leave this special moony atmosphere. "My Robots" is a track like a view in a clear starry sky, I mean a challenging view! This wonderful CD also comes along with three remix versions done by Semiomime, Edgey and Larvae, which also can only described as a "perfect ten". There is just one thing I have to criticize.... this CD is too short, so please more Angina P! I am addicted to her wonderful world of sound and I really hope that Angina P will release more of her haunting music soon. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Not to be missed! A pure diamond between ashes.
